The Move

Before take place the tradicional pilgrimage, Yunquera celebrates a special celebration that we call “ El Traslado” where the Virgen del Carmen Chiquita come to the village for spend there a month.

Date: the weekend next to 16 of July.

In that festivity, people of the village prepared a move where the Virgen del Carmen of Porticate come the village and in the Molino de los Patos is changed for the Virgen del Carmen of the our church. The first will spend a month in the village and the other; will go to Porticate until August 15.
